President, Fluids Division/ Filtran
With the joint venture of IBS and Filtran in 1986, Markus joined the Filtran team to lead sales and engineering. Later, as Managing Director of the European business segment, he was instrumental in increasing sales from $.2M to $133M. In 2013, he became CEO of Filtran and helped strengthen and expand its leading market position for innovative filtration system solutions and products and improved revenue and profitability of the global Filtran companies.
Prior to Filtran, Markus worked as the deputy head of development at IBS Brocke, a German injection molder, tool maker and supplier to the automotive and non-automotive market. He oversaw the development and management of innovative product concept solutions for the automotive industry including the first pneumatic door-lock systems, the first engine air intake valve modules and passenger air-bag and safety systems which resulted in 60% growth for the company.
Markus grew up in Germany and has an Engineer for Science degree from the University of Siegen, Germany.
